After much consideration and weighing all possibilities, we have decided that closing our practice until April 13th would be our best course of action. This date is tentative and may change depending on the course of this pandemic. ALL APPOINTMENTS UP TO APRIL 10 HAVE BEEN CANCELLED.  We will keep you posted regarding any changes.

We would like to give an update about how Dentistry for Children / Dr. Michael Rulnick is handling the Coronavirus (COVID 19) infections in our area.  Our main concerns are the health and well being of our patient and their families.  The situation is evolving rapidly and we are making every effort to implement protocols to maximize safety in our office.  We understand there is a lot of fear and concern right now.  Fortunately, children have been having less sever infections.  Children are exposed to many other Coronaviruses every winter and this is thought to be one of the reasons why infections are less severe in younger people.  However, they can expose others who may be at greater risk for more severe of an outcome.    In order to reduce the risk to our patients and their families, we are strongly encouraging the following:

1.  We are asking families to limit the number of caregivers bringing the child to the office.

2. We are asking families to bring only the patient to the office, no siblings.

3. We are asking people over 60 years of age to avoid the office.

4. If your child has symptoms of the Common Cold such as Fever, Cough, Runny Nose, and may or may not be ill appearing, it is best to avoid our office.

5. Remember that washing hands and being aware of our surroundings is very important to staying healthy.  There is no current need to wear masks unless instructed by medical professionals.

6. The most important aspect is to remain calm and rational.

As things change, Dentistry for Children / Dr. Michael Rulnick will update our Families as quick as possible.  Thank you for trusting us with the care of your Family.
